Our Golf Day has been re-scheduled for Wednesday 13th September at Cotgrave Golf Club.

This event aims to kick off the new season at Meadow Lane in style and offers you a chance to meet some of the squad and enjoy a wonderful day of golf around a picturesque course.

- Teams of four: £300 + vat per team (deposit of £100)
- Nottingham Rugby players available to make up four if required.
- Bacon sandwiches and coffee on arrival
- 2 course dinner
- Shotgun Start at 12 Noon
- Hole Sponsorship available at £25 per hole

Sponsorship is available for ‘Longest Drive’ and ‘Nearest The Pin’ at £100 each

TIGERS IN TOWN

The game will take place at Meadow Lane on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th August, kick off 3pm.

MEADOW LANE

Prior to our games at Meadow Lane we are able to offer a full carvery meal in the Banqueting Suite in Meadow Lane.

Price - £15 Adult, £7.50 Children - group bookings welcome - please specify whether you would like a specific table size or whether you would like to be part of a larger table.

BAYWORKS

a. No. 1 Pitch – after further delays for consents, we have finally received the go-ahead for the bore hole and Daleswater have commenced drilling. As soon as the water is connected the pitch contractor will be able to complete his works and soon there should be the signs of new growth

b. Trent Pool – Palisade fencing is now being erected to secure the site having received the consent information from the Environment Agency, and Adam Corcoran is working hard to get it ready for the new season. This is the main training area being used by the professional squad.

c. Sand Pit – a new 30m x 30m sand pit has been installed. This will be an invaluable addition to our training facility either for contact and lifting practice when the ground is either rock hard or water sodden, and in particular for fitness work with shuttles in the sand sapping energy at 5 times the normal. Nottingham Trent University have also enquired as to the prospect of borrowing it for Beach Volleyball – watch this space.

d. Floodlights – the application was submitted with all the technical information requested by the planners in June, and we expect to receive the formal acceptance next week. The works are scheduled to commence in September with a target date for completion of 15th September.

SUMMER CAMPS

Our Community Rugby team will again be running training camps over the summer for youngsters aged 6 to 16. The dates are:

Monday 21st August - Friday 25th August
